Excellent house for a family getaway or for a short stay! A classic 1863 northern Maine farmhouse with rustic charm. The house has beautiful property with spectacular views and a relaxing atmosphere. It is also available for DIY wedding venues.
The house has 5 BR w/2 1/2 bath with an updated kitchen, granite counter tops and lots of farmhouse charm. Features large comfortable family room with metal ceiling, pellet stove, newly renovated elegant dining room with exposed original beams and original refinished hardwood floors throughout first floor. 1st floor bedroom & renovated bath with a separate laundry room. Big enclosed front porch with beautiful sunset views. Awesome views with many apple trees on the property.
The house is located approximately 300 yards from the main ATV & snowmobile trail. I was able to get an exclusive rental agreement through a local shop. They will deliver and pickup ATV/snowmobiles from the house for guests who are interested in having a great time on the trails. ATV's will be available in the spring of 2019. The Meduxnekeag river is within short walking distance from the house for excellent trout fishing. Mars Hill ski facility is a short drive away.

Summary: Spectacular sunsets and cozy lodgings. I was there for a work trip so I didn't get to enjoy the nature as much as I'd like, but having a comfortable, clean and restful place to come back to, made this a great trip. I reccomend this place to you.

Summary: This was my fourth year in a row enjoying the winter months while enjoying the snowmobile season. The four bedroom availibility is a huge plus for all the adults to have thier own space. Trails are right out the backdoor/ field. Downtown (close by) has enough emenities with the "Down Under" restraunt to take a night off from cooking. Quaint setting minutes out of town with a nice view from the property.

Summary: Beautiful home and property! Very clean and all the comforts of home. So quiet, yet so close to grocery, and other necessities. With my own family being from Northern Maine (we jokingly call The Boonies) I was astounded to order Chinese delivery after a long tiring day! Dinner by the fire pit was amazing as well!

Summary: I have enjoyed this property several times during the past few winter seasons. It is a perfect location to head out from to go riding on the snowmobiles.To be able to take right off the back field and have access to the state trails is extremely convenient. Great to be a few minutes from downtown for some of the amenities, but far enough away to appreciate the view that the property has to offer. Great place ,, great space !!
